Pre-Alpha Test NoticeKinVest is in a pre-alpha testing stage. All data in the Service is test data and may be modified, reset, or permanently deleted without notice. Do not enter real personal, financial, or sensitive information — no real Social Security numbers, bank details, card numbers, or ID documents. If you have already done so, contact us and we will delete it.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains what information the KinVest pre-alpha Service collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Because the Service is a test environment, the guiding rule is simple: treat everything you enter as temporary test data.

2. Information We Collect

Account details — name, email address, and phone number used to create an account.
Family tree information — names, relationships, and profile details you or your family members enter.
Usage data — interactions with the Service, approximate location derived from profile fields, and technical logs used for debugging during pre-alpha.
Simulated financial data — vault balances, transactions, and card details entered in the sandbox. These are not connected to real financial accounts.

3. What You Should Never Submit

Do not submit real Social Security numbers, real bank account or payment card numbers, real government-issued ID images, health information, or any other real sensitive data. Fields that appear to request such information exist to test the interface; use the demo placeholders provided. Submitted test data carries no expectation of long-term retention.

4. How We Use Information

To operate and improve the pre-alpha Service.
To authenticate accounts and keep family circles functioning.
To debug, measure, and refine features during testing.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

5. Data Resets and Deletion

During pre-alpha we may reset, modify, or delete any or all data at any time, without notice, as part of development. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the support channels listed in the app; deletion requests are honored within a reasonable period.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate for a test environment. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure — another reason real sensitive information must not be entered into the Service.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service runs on third-party infrastructure (cloud hosting, database, error monitoring, and a banking-sandbox provider used for simulation). These providers process data only as needed to operate the Service.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

The Service uses a small number of storage technologies to function:

Session cookie — an essential, security-related cookie that keeps you signed in. It cannot be disabled while using the Service.
Local storage — your browser stores interface preferences and identifiers (such as your active member ID and theme choice) on your own device. This data never leaves your browser except as needed to operate the Service.
Diagnostics — error-monitoring and performance tooling may collect technical data (browser type, error traces) to help us debug during pre-alpha.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell cookie-derived data. Clearing your browser storage will sign you out and reset local preferences.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13. Family member profiles representing minors should contain placeholder information only, entered by an adult family administrator.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as the Service evolves. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
